of the online platform (collectively, hereinafter referred to as the “Web Portal”).
This web portal is owned and operated by Sollogs Information Technology Co., and its affiliates
(collectively, hereinafter referred to as the “Sollogs” or "Company" or "We" or "Us”
interchangeably) located at primary domain of www.sollogs.ae (and all associated sites linked to
it).
Sollogs take your privacy very seriously and we are committed to protecting the privacy of all
visitors and subscribers to our web portal or any mobile application we make available via an
App Store (the “App”, together with the Web Portal), and the corresponding services available
through the Online Platform (the “Services”).
We appreciate that you do not want the personal information you provide to us distributed
indiscriminately and here we explain how we collect information on or via the Web Portal, what
we do with that information and what controls you have in relation to it. This Privacy Policy
forms part of the Terms and Conditions which govern all use of the Web Portal.
It also explains the purposes for which the Web Portals collects the user’s personal data, and
the procedure to store and handle that data, transfer and share that data with third-party
service providers.
It is important that the User reads this Privacy Policy together any other privacy notice or
fair processing notice the Web Portal may provide on specific occasions when the Web Portal is
collecting or processing personal data about the user, so that the User is fully aware of the
collection, storage and processing of the personal data of the User.
Updates
We may update this privacy policy at our discretion from time to time by posting a new version on
our Web Portal. You should check our Web Portal occasionally to ensure any changes made are
suitable for you. If required by applicable law, you will be informed of any significant changes
made to the privacy policy.

1. Consent to and Changes to the Privacy Policy
- The User unconditionally agrees that by virtue of becoming a user of the Web Portal and / or
availing any Services, the User consents to the Web Portal collecting, receiving, storing,
using, transferring, dealing with, handling, managing, processing, providing access to,
sharing, disclosing and analyzing User Information in the manner set forth in this Privacy
policy.
- The Company reserves the right to change, modify, add or delete any terms of the privacy
policy, at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without advance notice, any such
change, modification, addition or deletion of the privacy policy or any terms thereof shall
be published on the Web Portal to enable users to review the same, provided that apart from
such publication on the Web Portal, we shall be under no obligation to inform or intimate
the user of any such change, modification , addition or deletion and each user will be
responsible to access the Web Portal to apprise himself/herself of the same. If any user
does not agree with privacy policy or any part of the same, at any time, such user shall not
access the Web Portal or use any of our services or give the company any user information.
In such event, such users may also terminate their account by sending a request to Sollogs
or you may also delete yours account by visiting your profile setting page. If any user
accesses the Web Portal or uses any services on behalf of someone else or uploads another
person’s information/data on the Web Portal, such user represents that they are duty
authorized by such individual or entity to accept this privacy policy and terms on such
individual’s or entity’s behalf.
- The Company may process User Information without requirement of any specific consent from
the User in this regard, and in compliance with the Applicable Law.
- By accessing the Web Portal, using the services or by otherwise giving information, each
user will be deemed to have read, understand and agreed to the conditions in this private
policy and agree to be bound by the same.
2. The Information We Collect
In the course of your use of the Web Portal, Sollogs collect certain information, which may be
broadly described as General Information and Personal Information.
In General Information, there is no need to create an account when visiting to, searching and
viewing information and using of the Web Portal. This general information does not identify you
personally, and can include information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, as
described below
- Due to communications standards on the internet, certain data (Technical Data) is
automatically received when a User accesses the Web Portal, such as:
- Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the site (if any) from which anyone visits;
- Internet Protocol (IP) address of each User’s computer (or the proxy server a User
used to access the World Wide Web (WWW));
- Domain Name and Server (DNS);
- User’s computer Operating System (OS);
- Type of web browser the User is using;
- Email patterns; and / or
- Name of User’s Internet Service Provider (ISP).
- Usage Data including information about how the User uses the web portal and services, the
length of time you spend on the web portal and your browsing history.
- Marketing and Communications Data includes the User’s preferences in receiving marketing
from the Web Portal and affiliated third parties and the user’s communication preferences.
- The Company may obtain and aggregate technical and other data about the User’s use of the
Web Portal and the Services that is not personally identifiable with respect to the User
(Aggregated Anonymous Data). We may use the Aggregated Anonymous Data to improve, support
and operate the Web Portal or the Services. Aggregated Anonymous Data will not directly or
indirectly reveal the User’s identity.
In Personal Information, if you decide to create an account, you will need to provide us with
some personal information so we can provide you with access to our additional services that
users benefit from. The following information will not be publicly displayed. Each time you use
the Web Portal, we will also ask you for your username and password to Sign In.
- Identity Data including User’s login data, title, first name, last name, username or similar
identifier, business information (such as company name).
- Contact Data including email address and telephone numbers
- Transaction Data including bank account information, credit card, debit card or other
payment
instrument details, details about payments from the User and other details of Services you
have
availed using the Web Portal.
- Profile Data including the User’s username and password to access the Web Portal, purchases
or
orders made by the User, the user’s interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses,
and
any content uploaded onto the Web Portal by the user such as photos or comments.
The Sollogs does not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about the User (this
includes details about the User’s race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex
life, sexual orientation, political opinions, criminal convictions, trade union membership,
information about the User’s health and genetic and biometric data).
3. When The Information We Collect?
Sollogs collects information when the User:
- Accesses the Web Portal;
- Registers as a user on the Web Portal;
- Uses the Services offered on the Web Portal, such as online purchase;
- Posts User reviews or feedbacks on the items available on the Web Portal;
- Participates in an online survey or contest organized by the company
- Requests marketing communications to be sent to the User; and
- Communicates with the customer service team of the company
Further, upon download / installation / access of the Web Portal, the User grants the following
permissions through the User’s operating system, if necessary, to:
- To read from, write on, modify and delete data pertaining to the Web Portal on the hard disk
and/or external storage of a User’s device;
- To access information about networks, access networks including Wi-Fi networks, receive and
send data through the network;
- To determine a User’s approximate location from sources like, but not limited to, mobile
towers and connected Wi-Fi networks;
- To determine a User’s exact location from sources such as, but not limited to GPS;
- To access the model number, IMEI number and details about the operating system of the User’s
device, as well as the phone number of the device, if such device is a portable electronic
device;
- To retrieve information about other applications and services running on a User’s device;
- To detect when a User’s device had been switched off and switched on for the purpose of
sending notifications / push notifications; and / or
- To access and change the display and sound settings of the User’s device.
4. How The Information We Collect?
- The Web Portal may also use standard technology called “Cookies” on the Web Portal to store
certain User Information (that is not sensitive personal data or information) that is used
by the company and its service providers for the technical administration of the Web Portal,
research and development, and for User administration. Cookies are small data files that are
downloaded onto the User’s computer when the User visits a particular Web Portal. The User’s
browser allows the www.sollogs.ae to place some information (session based IDs and/or
persistent cookies) on the User’s computer's hard drive that identifies the computer the
User is using. Cookies enable the Sollogs to inter alia:
- estimate the usage size and usage pattern;
- store information about the User’s preferences and accordingly enable the Sollogs to
customize the Web Portal according to the User’s individual interests
- speed up the User’s searches; and
- recognize the User when such User returns to the Web Portal.
The Sollogs may use cookies to personalize its sites and to track the User’s usage across
the other Web Portals owned and/or operated by us at any point in time. The User can disable
cookies by turning them off in the User’s browser; however, some areas of the Web Portal may
not function properly if the User does so.
- In addition, the Sollogs may use other tracking systems like “Pixel-Tags”. Pixel tags,
sometimes called “Web Beacons”, are similar in function to a cookie. Web Beacons are image
files placed in our web page and emails. But because of their insignificant size, it is not
visible; though, they are used to pass certain information to the Sollogs’s servers to
personalize the Web Portal and to track the User’s usage across the Web Portals owned and/or
operated by us.
- Like most interactive websites, Sollogs use web server Log files to collect technical data,
clause (2.a). Additionally, we use web server log files for the purpose of system
administration, detecting usage patterns, analyzing trends, tracking user’s movement,
providing broad traffic information for portal planning and troubleshooting. Note that IP
addresses are not tied to personal data in our web server log files.
- Sollogs may receive personal data about the user from various third parties as set out
below:
- analytics providers;
- advertising networks;
- search information providers;
- social media networks;
- data brokers and aggregators.
5. How User Information Is Used?
Sollogs will use your Personal Information and General Information only in the form and manner
permitted under the Applicable Laws. For instance:
- Where the Sollogs needs to perform its obligations under the Terms and Conditions or this
Privacy Policy;
- Where it is necessary for the Sollogs legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and
the User’s interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests;
- Where the Sollogs needs to comply with any Applicable Law.
5.1 Use and Disclosure of User Information
- The Sollogs may use the User Information for the following purposes:
- To open and manage your registration with the Web Portal, including purchases or
orders made through your account;
- To Identify you each time when you visit the Web Portal and track of your use of the
Web Portal;
- To generate aggregate statistics about Web Portal visitors; Web Portal traffic
measurement.
- To send you the information regarding the Web Portal, changes to this Privacy
Policy, changes in Terms and Conditions, user agreements, and policies and/or other
administrative information;
- To send relevant information about Services available on the Web Portal, to notify
you about e-products and e-services that may interest you, and marketing
communications that the company believes may be of interest to the User;
- To use data analytics to improve layout and functionality of the Web Portal,
Services, marketing, customer relationships and experiences; and
- To administer and protect the Sollogs business and the Web Portal (including
troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, system maintenance, support, reporting and
hosting of data);
- To respond to legal, judicial, quasi-judicial process and provide information to law
enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to
public safety, as permitted by the Applicable Law;
- Also, we may share your information with certain third parties as outlined below
clause (6).
- Each User accepts and acknowledges that any User Information available on the Web Portal may
be used by the Company:
- for the purpose of providing the Services available on / through the Web Portal;
- in an aggregated or non-personally identifiable form for the purpose of research and
analysis and for transfer of such research and analysis;
- for communication purpose;
- debugging customer support related issues; and / or
- in anonymized form (i.e., non-personally identifiable) in order to help grow the
business of the Company. Each User hereby consents to such collection, use and
disclosure.
- Notwithstanding the Clause above, the Company will on a best efforts basis ensure that such
third parties abide by this Privacy Policy in relation to the User Information being shared
with them and enter into appropriate agreements to ensure that the third parties who receive
the User Information implement the same security measures as currently used by the Sollogs
or put in place adequate measures of their own which are commensurate to the security
standards the Company uses to protect User Information.
6. With Whom Is Your Information Shared?
- Sollogs will pass parts of your information to third parties who assist in providing you
with
the services available on the Web Portal or in the payment for those services (such as banks
and
payment platform providers). Unless you tell us you do not want us to, Sollogs may disclose
your
Personal Information to business partners or sponsors to allow them to contact you by email
about products and services that may interest you. Sollogs cannot be held responsible for
the
actions of those third parties to whom we disclose your Personal Information.
- Sollogs may analyse and disclose aggregate statistics about visitors to the Web Portal, in
order
to describe our services to prospective partners, advertisers and other reputable third
parties
and for other lawful purposes, but these statistics will include no personally identifying
information.
- Sollogs may disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law or if it believes
that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights, property or personal safety
of
Sollogs, the Web Portal or its visitors.
- If Sollogs is sold to a third party, or Sollogs otherwise becomes subject to a merger,
consolidation or acquisition, it would become necessary for us to transfer your Personal
Information to a third party, and in such case Sollogs would require that the third party
handles your Personal Information with no less care than taken by us.
6.1 International Transfers
The Sollogs may transfer User Information to countries other than the country in which such User
Information originally was collected. Those countries may not have the same data protection laws
as the country in which the User initially provided the information. When the company transfers
the User Information to such other countries, the company will protect such User Information as
described in this Privacy Policy.
The User may contact the Sollogs if the User wants further information on the specific mechanism
used by the company when transferring the User Information out of the jurisdiction in which such
User Information was collected.
6.2 Your Information Is Not Shared
- www.sollogs.ae will not share or pass debit/credit card details
to any third parties (exclusive payment platform provider and bank)
- All credit/debit cards’ details and personally identifiable information will not be stored,
sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.

7. Type Of Information Not To Be Uploaded
While accessing the Web Portal, User(s) shall ensure that they DO NOT host, display, upload,
modify, publish, transmit, update or share any User Information that:
- Belongs to another person and to which the user does not have any right to do so;
- Is grossly harmful, abusive, threatening, harassing, blasphemous, defamatory, obscene,
pornographic, pedophilic, libelous, invasive of another person’s privacy, hateful or
racially, ethnically objectionable, disparaging, relating to or encouraging money laundering
or gambling, or otherwise unlawful in any manner whatsoever;
- Harms minors in any way;
- Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights of any person;
- Deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of such messages or communicates any
information which is grossly offensive or menacing in nature;
- Violates any law for the time being in force;
- Impersonates another person or falsely states or misrepresents you as being affiliated with
any person / entity;
- Contains software viruses or any other computer malicious code, files or programs designed
to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
- Threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security or sovereignty of any nation, friendly
relations with foreign States, or public order or causes incitement to the commission of any
cognizable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or is insulting any other
nation; and / or
- Which the User knows to be false, but sends the same for the purpose of causing annoyance,
inconvenience, danger, obstruction, insult, injury, criminal intimidation, enmity, hatred or
ill will.
Notwithstanding the generality of the foregoing Clause, the Users agree and undertake that they
shall not upload any information / data on the Web Portal, which would infringe the intellectual
property rights of any third person. The company reserves the right to remove any information /
data from the Web Portal, which it may determine at its sole discretion as violating the
intellectual property rights of any third person, including but not limited to patent,
trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights.
8. User’s Legal Rights
The User has the right to:
- Request access to User’s personal data that is directly or indirectly used or processed by
the Sollogs (commonly known as a “Data Subject Access Request (DSAR)”).
- Request correction of the personal data that the Sollogs holds about the User.
- Request removal of the User Information. Note, however, that the Sollogs may not always be
able to comply with User’s request of removal for specific legal reasons which will be
notified to the User, if applicable, at the time of the User’s request.
- Object to processing of the User Information where the Company is relying on a legitimate
interest (or that of a third party) and there is something about the User’s particular
situation which causes the User to object to processing on this ground.
- Request restriction of processing of the User Information.
- Request the transfer of the User Information to the User or to a third party. Note that this
right only applies to automated information which the User initially provided consent for
the Sollogs to use or where the Company used the information to perform a contract with the
User.
- Withdraw consent at any time where the Sollogs is relying on consent to process the User
Information. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out
before the User withdraws its consent.
9. Data Security And Retention
- Sollogs store your Personal Information in data centers that may be accessed by our
affiliates; such data centers may be located in UAE or outside UAE. We place great emphasis
on safeguarding your information and have implemented effective technical and organisational
measures to prevent unauthorised access of User Information by unauthorized persons or
disclosure. However, it is essential to acknowledge that no security measure is entirely
infallible. As a result, any transmission of your information is done at your own risk.
- User Information is maintained by the Company in electronic form on its equipment, and on
the equipment of its employees. Such User Information may also be converted to physical form
from time to time. The Sollogs takes all necessary precautions to protect User Information,
both online and offline.
- The Sollogs makes User Information accessible to its employees, agents, advisers, directors
and / or partners and third parties only on a need-to-know basis, and binds only its
employees to strict confidentiality obligations.
- As part of the business functionality of the Sollogs, the company may retain and submit
certain User Information to other Users (where required to so provide) or to the appropriate
authorities (when requested to do so).
- The Sollogs has put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and
will notify the User and any applicable regulator of a breach where the Company is legally
required to do so.
- The Sollogs implements reasonable security practices and procedures and has a comprehensive
documented information security program and information security policies that contain
managerial, technical, operational and physical security control measures that are
commensurate with respect to the information being collected and the nature of the company’s
business, the Sollogs has put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial
procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and
correctly use the User Information that is collected online.
- The Sollogs takes the User’s right to privacy very seriously and other than as specifically
stated in this Privacy Policy, will only disclose User Information in the event it is
required to do so by law, rule, regulation, law enforcement agency, governmental official,
legal authority or similar requirements or when the Sollogs, in its sole discretion, deems
it necessary in order to protect its rights or the rights of others, to prevent harm to
persons or property, to fight fraud and credit risk, or to enforce or apply the Terms and
Conditions.
- Furthermore, the Sollogs shall not be responsible for any breach of security by events that
are beyond the reasonable control of the company, including but not limited to, acts of God,
strikes, lock-out, other industrial action, labour conflicts or problems, acts of war or
civil unrest, civil commotion / disruption, riot, invasion, act of terrorism, acts of
government, storm, flood, fire, earthquakes, explosion, public utility failures, industry
wide shortages of labour or material, natural disaster, epidemics, pandemics (including
COVID-19), lock-downs, impossibility of the use of railways, shipping line, aircraft, motor
transport or other means of public or private transport, impossibility of use of public or
private telecommunications networks or internet service provider failures or delays.
9.Phishing
Identity theft and the practice currently known as “phishing” are of great concern to the
Sollogs. Safeguarding information to help protect the User from identity theft is a priority for
the Sollogs. We, the company do not and will not, at any time, request User’s PIN numbers or
passwords in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication. Please refrain from
providing such information through any non-secure medium.
10. Third Party Hyperlinks
The Sollogs may from time to time provide links on the Web Portal to third party Web Portals for
the User’s convenience and information. The Sollogs may also provide links to third party Web
Portals, social media platforms and pages therein which may be hosted and owned by third
parties. Such third party Web Portals are not owned, hosted or controlled by the Sollogs. When
the User visits such other Web Portal or social media platform, the User does so at its own
risk. Such third party Web Portals or social media platforms may have their own privacy policies
in place, which the Company recommends that the User reviews in the event the User visits any
such Web Portals or social media platforms. We, the company do not, assume any responsibility or
liability arising out of, or associated with the use of such third party Web Portals or social
media platforms, the content of such Web Portals or their privacy practices, nor does the
Sollogs endorse them. The Sollogs encourages the User to familiarize itself with the privacy
policies provided by such other Web Portals or social media platforms prior to providing them
with information about the User, or entering into any transactions with / on them.
11. Termination Of Access
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Privacy Policy or Terms and
Conditions:
- Where the User commits a breach of / fails to comply with any of the provisions of the
Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions;
- Where the User fails to comply with Applicable Law;
- Where the User uploads any information or data on the Web Portal that is fraudulent, untrue,
inaccurate, not current or incomplete at the time of it being uploaded, or the Sollogs has
reasonable grounds to suspect that such information or data is untrue, inaccurate, not
current or incomplete;
- Where the User commits a breach of the intellectual property rights of the Sollogs and / or
any third person;
- Where a third party reports violation of any of its right as a result of a User’s use of the
Web Portal and / or the Services;
- Where the Sollogs has reasonable grounds for suspecting any illegal, fraudulent, unethical
or abusive activity by such User; and
- Where the Company believes, in its sole discretion, that a User’s actions are causing or may
cause legal liability for other Users and / or the Sollogs or are contrary to the interests
of the Sollogs, the Web Portal, the Sollogs’s Intellectual Property and / or the User
Information.
The Sollogs shall have the right to immediately
- Terminate the right of access / usage of such User to the Web Portal and the Services;
- To remove such non-compliant, fraudulent, untrue and / or inaccurate information / data from
the Web Portal;
- De-activate the account of such defaulting User;
- Investigate and take appropriate action against a User for any such alleged breach;
- File a complaint with or report any illegal activity to the appropriate Governmental
Authority; and / or
- Take any other action deemed appropriate, under Applicable Law.
11. User’s Failure To Provide Personal Data
Where the www.sollogs.ae need to collect personal data under the
Applicable Law or under the conditions or this Privacy Policy from the user and the User fails
to provide that data when requested, we, the company, in its sole discretion, may restrict
access to the Web Portal or the services. In this case, we may have rights to terminate a
service, and will notify the User at the time of such termination.
12. No Warranty For Accuracy And Completeness of Data
- Each User hereby undertakes to ensure that any information / data uploaded on the Web Portal
shall be accurate and complete in all respects and that no false or misleading information /
data shall be uploaded onto the Web Portal.
- The Sollogs makes no representations or warranties (whether express or implied) and
specifically disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, with respect to the Web Portal,
express or implied, including any representations or warranties with respect to title,
non-infringement, availability, security, accuracy of information (including accuracy of
User Information), merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, freedom from viruses
or malware, completeness of information (including completeness of User Information),
timeliness, functionality, reliability, sequencing or speed of delivery.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Sollogs disclaims all liability arising out of
the User’s use or reliance upon the Web Portal, the Services, representations and warranties
made by other Users, the content or information provided by the Users on the Web Portal, or
any opinion or suggestion given or expressed by the Sollogs or any User.
13. Enquiry And Complaints
If the User has any enquiry, feedback, suggestion, or concern about this Privacy Policy or the
contents of the Web Portal, please contact us at customercare@sollogs.ae.
The User has the right to make a complaint at any time to the Data Protection Authority. Kindly
contact the Sollogs to deal with the User’s concerns before such User approaches the Data
Protection Authority.
14. User Acceptance
By using or registering on the Web Portal and therefore accepting the Terms and Conditions of
which this Privacy Policy forms part, you consent to the collection and use of your information
by Sollogs as set out above. If we change the Privacy Policy in any way, we will post these
changes on this page and you should check this regularly.
